That's not how they say it here, but you know. :)
We've spent almost the entire day on trains -- 3 to be exact. It took us about 6 hours and 1/2 a book for us to get here. It was a peaceful train ride and I enjoyed reading my book. I don't seem to have the focus to get thru anything at home -- so it really is nice to be able to sit and read. :) Also, the author is funny. So, it's nice to be able to sit and read and laugh. :)
Hi Nico!
Nick did a great job arranging the trains and making all the connections.
So, we bid a Ciao Ciao to Alessandro and Bonjourno to Cristian. He was waiting for us at the train station to help us get our luggage and show us the place. Which is lovely, since we really have no way of contacting anyone once we get here.
What a beautiful little place. Rick Steve's pretty much put this place on the map. There are Americans walking around everywhere w/ their Rick Steve books. Nicks says people here wear Rick Steve's underwear. lol.
The ally way to our place

Not the normal beige on beige crime you're used to seeing in the USA. :)
View after a short strenuous hike.
A woman I work with (who shall remain nameless) makes STRONG coffee at work. I finally figured out why -- she left her heart in Italy! I couldn't believe how much coffee Cristian used to make this. Colombian coffee growers are in business because of how Europeans drink coffee. ;)
Some beautiful flowers on the hike -- everything smells like laundry in Italy. I'm not sure if it's their detergent or the fact that there are flowers everywhere!
Cheese!
